The Accounting Pathway Program is designed to support Cypress College students in achieving their academic, university transfer, and career goals in accounting and related business fields. Through structured coursework, mentorship, and university partnerships, students can gain the knowledge, skills, and professional exposure to succeed in today’s competitive workforce.

Application Checklist

Meet with a Business & CIS Counselor to sequence courses and complete Student Education Plan
Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative transferable GPA
Complete or take Introduction to Business with an A or B grade
Complete by at least the upcoming year an AS-T in Business Administration
Enroll in the cohort section of ACCT courses each semester

Participation Requirements

Enroll in the cohort with fall ACCT 101C and spring ACCT 102C course sections
Earn an A or B grade in Accounting courses
Attend CCAP2+2 Program Activities (minimum 4 per semester in person)
Maintain a cumulative minimum 3.0 transferable GPA each semester
Apply for graduation and university transfer to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration or minor in Accounting
