Michael Faraci DNP, RN

I am Dr. Michael Faraci and I am passionate about teaching nursing! I have been a Registered Nurse since 1999 specializing in Critical Care and Pediatrics. I remain current in the Nursing Practice by working Per-Diem at a large, academic medical institution in Los Angeles on a weekly basis. I have been teaching Nursing full-time at Cypress College since 2006. I currently teach Pediatrics, Advanced Medical Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, as well as various electives.

My favorite thing about teaching Nursing is bumping into graduates at various hospitals and witnessing them functioning as caring, independent, competent practitioners changing people’s lives for the better!
