Beena Eapen RN, MSN

With more than 17 years of bedside nursing experience, I have provided compassionate care across medical-surgical, geriatric, rehabilitation, and psychiatric units. Since 2018, I have served as a full-time faculty member at Cypress College, where I am dedicated to mentoring the next generation of nurses. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona in 2020. My doctoral research focused on fall prevention among older adults, utilizing STEADI tools developed by the CDC to enhance patient safety and quality of care. In addition to my clinical and academic work, I have worked with All India Radio (AIR) in India in ‘Akashwani’ and also hosted a radio show Awaken Your Dreams in an Indian FM channel, motivating listeners to pursue their aspirations and fulfill their potential.
