Enrique Aispuro
Enrique Aispuro joined the Cypress College Automotive Department in January 2016 as an adjunct instructor and became part of the full-time faculty in August of 2019. Mr. Aispuro teaches the AT130 Auto Chassis and Brake Systems core class as well as the AT110 Introduction to Automotive Technology and AT105 Automotive Electrical courses.
Mr. Aispuro started his education at the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated locally from Cerritos College with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and the Ford factory training program. He completed a bachelor’s degree as well as a CTE Teaching Credential from Long Beach State University soon after. He became an ASE Master Technician in 1998, and he is State of California BAR Certified Training Instructor for the Advanced Emissions Smog Program and factory trained and certified by Ford, Toyota, and Honda. Mr. Aispuro has been in the automotive field since 1994 as an automotive technician at independent automotive shops and worked at Ford dealerships, smog repair, and as an inspector at a smog station. He has been an instructor, teacher and trainer for private and public colleges and corporate industry as well as a high school teacher in the Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County areas since 2006.
Mr. Aispuro is a member of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT), California Automotive Teachers (CAT), California Teachers Association (CTA) as well as the automotive iATN, ATRA and ASE and numerous automotive advisory committees.
