The Cypress College Court Reporting program offers a quality educational opportunity for students to pursue careers in court reporting, CART, captioning, text-entry, proofreading, scoping, legal secretary, and court and agency services.  I have been an instructor and a department chairperson in the program for more than 30 years.  During this time, I have been directly involved in training students to follow the career path of their choice.

CTRP 40C  Machine Shorthand Theory

This class is an introduction to machine shorthand theory designed to train a student to become adept on the steno  keyboard emphasizing alphabetic and numeric applications in order to become a skilled writer.
